the depiction of grief in this one is perfection. that opening with Richter wailing… absolutely. the voice acting is BRILLIANT!

it did not shock me that the Abbott was Maria’s father. the interaction between them in the first ep, her mom’s knowledge of the secret passageway, him saving her from Drolta, the mom crying looking at th Abbey…. yeaaa.

i have further thoughts about Juste Belmont but i’ll hold onto them in case im wrong.
Annette was being really unkind to Richter about him coming up on the man who murdered his mother as if it wasn’t her reaction to seeing the slave master that led to them being spotted on their recon mission.
i hope she has a change of heart and some empathy, as he had for her and reassured her.
