the office as a quiet horror movie about grief. the little green numbers, the waffle party, that endless hallway. i finished it and just sat in the dark wondering who i am at work versus who i am at home.

The fact that your work self does not know your home self is such a clean, elegant little horror, and the show keeps finding new corners of it to terrify you with. The hallways looping back into themselves, the goats, the waffle party, do not even get me started. The finale had me pacing the apartment at midnight. I think about the numbers you are supposed to FEEL far, far too much.
