Did Whitney break Canaan’s trust by going through his phone? Yes, she was wrong and it was insecure and immature. Was that a relationship ending offence in their case? I don’t think so.
Let’s backtrack a bit to when Whitney confided in Canaan about feeling insecure about herself and her strengths (literal pillow talk) and he immediately went and blabbed (tactlessly too, i might add) about her situation to his friend. But she forgave him.
Also, knowing that the girl was into him and having her all up on his lap doing the entire MOST like that at the KissMas party? Lol be so for real. It would be one thing if she wasn’t into him, but he should have set a boundary at least in that instance. Kudos to him for “letting her down gently” as he said. But Whitney didn’t know all of that. All she was seeing was a hot girl flirting with her man and him feeding into it.
A good heart to heart conversation could have resolved those issues. Canaan called it quits too easily. I don’t trust it.
